Children have the wonderful ability to live in the moment, to laugh and play. Their hearts are pure and their minds are open to endless possibilities. Imagine the delight of jumping in a puddle or tasting your first ice-cream. Imagine being able to look upon those moments every day, smiling at what could have easily been forgotten, being able to share them with your children as they grow.

Children are fun, silly and spontaneous; they are expressive, extroverted and then all of a sudden shy. Most importantly, children are honest, loving and such an important part of our lives.
Here is your chance for me to capture their innocence on camera.

As every child and family are different so is every session. The portrait session will generally take 1 hour, depending on what package you select.

I prefer to shoot away from the studio, in particular for baby and children photography, so they will interact as naturally as possible in their own environment. This enables me to naturally capture their true personality. There is no maximum of photographs taken and you can choose from a mixture of colour, black and white and sepia prints.
The photographic session can take place either in your home or a park/beach convenient to you.

What to bring to a portrait session

• Please bring 2 to 3 changes of clothing for everybody – this is in case clothes get dirty, or as an alternative that the photographer can advise on the day.
• This is an opportunity to dress your children to look as cute and beautiful as they can, or you are welcome to choose a simple casual look. Some people like to take the opportunity to do both.
• Try to avoid patterns/logos and stripes or bright colours – so your clothes don’t attract more attention than your faces and your photos don’t date over time.
• White is okay if for an individual portrait but it can be very stark on a bright day, so make it only one option. It’s difficult if only one person is wearing it in a group as they will stand out more then anyone else.
• White is fine if all participants are in white with a combination of denim for example.
• Hats, accessories, necklaces and ponchos can look fantastic in photos, so please feel free to bring these along with you.
• Please also bring a snack for children, drink and one or two of your children’s favourite toys.
